A gang doing business of online fraud has been busted in Ambala city of Haryana. The gang members used to cheat people by making online calls. Acting on a tip-off, the STF team raided the Ghunghat Palace late on Tuesday night. During this the gang members were busy in their work.
While raiding the team also recovered 125 computers. 23 girls and 90 boys from Gujarat and Nepal have been arrested from the spot. These people used to work from 10 pm to 5 am. The action was carried out under the leadership of DSP Satish Balyan. STF’s SP Gangaram Punia was also present on the spot.
The team of DSP Kulbhushan from Ambala also assisted the STF. The arrested girls and boys were released by the STF by writing their address and name. But after registering a case against about 10 persons involved in the case, further investigation has been started.
