Former Chief of ICMR, Dr. R. Gangakhedkar said that people should understand that a system has been created to approve these vaccines, it has been approved only after thorough consideration. He said that those who refuse to take this vaccine should think that not only them but also their family may have to bear the loss. Their relatives and friends may also be in trouble.

The veterans explained that impotence about the vaccine should also be alert from the message of social media.

Former Chief of the Indian Council of Medical Research, Dr. R. Gangakhedkar has clarified that pork (pork) does not contain any of the two corona vaccines allowed in India. During conversation with Aaj Tak, he said that there is no need to believe these rumors completely and such rumors are baseless and nonsensenonsense.

Dr. R. Gangakhedkar has been a big face in the war with Corona. During the lockdown, Dr. Gangakhedkar used to give updates related to Corona continuously. During a conversation with Aaj Tak on Tuesday, he said that social media messages related to the Corona vaccine should not be carried forward without checking the veracity.

Dr. R. Gangakhedkar said that people should understand that a system has been created to approve these vaccines, it has been approved only after thorough consideration. He said that those who refuse to take this vaccine should think that not only them but also their family may have to bear the loss. Their relatives and friends may also be in trouble.

Dr. Gangakhedkar said that till now around one crore people have been vaccinated worldwide, but no one has died due to this, some people have definitely suffered. But these problems were overcome. He said that if people remember this incident, then they will have problems.

While cautioning about the message of social media, he said that if you have any such suspicious message, you can call Corona Helpline and check its veracity. Only then forward it.

Resolving the rumors related to the vaccine, he said, “In many places the thing is going on that there is a pork content in the vaccine, it is absolutely wrong, there is no such thing in both these vaccines.” Rejecting the rumors related to impotence, Dr. Gangakhedkar said that there is a rumor that those taking it will become impotent, but there is no basis for making such a claim, and because of this no eunuch will be there.

The former chief of ICMR said that there are situations like emergency right now, so do not give wrong message to people and only correct information about the vaccine should be carried forward.
