NHM workers strike in Haryana for 2 days

Union said – on 30 June and 1 July all health services will be disrupted, the government should fulfill the demands

In Haryana, NHM employees protested against unnecessary tampering in service rules and order to fix basic salary. The employees submitted memorandum to the CMO regarding the strike to be held on June 30 and July 1. District President of NHM Employees Union Renu Kamboj, General Secretary Jaswinder Nandal and State Organization Patron DrAshwani Chahal said that if these orders are not repealed then a big agitation will be held.

He said that on June 24, all the districts had protested by burning copies of the said order of the Finance Department in protest against unnecessary tampering in service rules and fixed basic salary. At the same time, in the meeting of the state executive in Rohtak on June 26, due to the government and the officials ignoring the demands of the NHM employees, it was unanimously decided that a memorandum would be sent to the mission director from all the districts on Monday through civil surgeon.

 

NHM employees of all districts will go on strike on 2 days (30 June and 1 July). In which all health services including emergency will be disrupted. The government and the department will be responsible for any problem arising due to this. If action is still not taken on the demands and problems, then the strike can also be done indefinitely

Unnecessary tampering in the service rules should be stopped and the order of fixed basic salary should be canceled with immediate effect.

 

Acting on the announcement of the Chief Minister, the benefit of the Seventh Pay Commission should be given.

 

Permanent service security should be provided to all NHM employees.

 

Necessary amendments should be made in the service rules including pay discrepancy.

 

– Salary of strike done by NHM employees in the year 2017, 2018, 2019 should be released like other organizations
