In view of the increasing cases of Corona, the state government has imposed a night curfew from 10 to 5 in the night. The night curfew will affect every business. This will affect the hotel and restaurant industry the most. Navratri has the highest earning in the hotel industry, and has already imposed a night curfew on Navratri. The Hotel and Restaurant Association of Haryana has sent a memorandum to CM Manohar Lal demanding imposition of a night curfew from 12 am to 5 am so that his business is not affected. There are around 2200 hotels, restaurants and banquet halls in the state.

Of these, around 4800 night shows were booked in the next 20 days. The imposition of the night curfew is expected to affect the business of about Rs 3,000 crore. This includes restaurants, banquet halls, hotels, and other people including Halwai, Light, Phulwala, DJ, Ghori, Band. The big dhabas or hotels on the highway will also suffer.

Manbir Chaudhary, head of the Hotel and Restaurant Association of Haryana, said that the hotel industry suffered the most during the lockdown. For the last three to four months, the work of the hotel industry was going well. But now again by imposing night curfew, the business of the industry will be destroyed. Work starts with Navratri, now curfew has been imposed on Navratri itself.

Hotel and Restaurant Association Haryana has sent a memorandum to the CM seeking relief. The association has demanded curfew from 12 to 5 pm, so that the business of the hotel industry will continue. Thousands of people are employed in tourism. During the lockdown, a lot of people had lost their jobs, now the same thing will come again. Keeping in mind the employment of thousands of people, the state government should be relaxed.
