That is, loans will be given to grocery store owners under this scheme. In a statement given by the company, it has been said that the credit offering of Flipkart Wholesale has been done in partnership with IDFC First Bank. It is named ‘Easy Credit’ and will solve the problems of local kirana stores across the country.
What is the main objective of the company
According to Adarsh Menon, Senior Vice President and Head, Flipkart Wholesale, the company’s main goal is to make it easier for kiranas and retailers to do business and boost their growth journey. Through these new offerings, kirana stores can avail zero-cost loans through end-to-end digital onboarding in partnership with IDFC First Bank and other fintech institutions.
How much loan will be available up to Rs.
Let us tell you that under the new offer of Flipkart, kirana stores and retailers can take a loan of at least Rs 5,000. While the maximum loan limit has been fixed at Rs 2 lakh. Talking about the interest rate, only if the loan is returned within 14 days, then the loan will be interest free. That is, interest free loan will be available for a period of 14 days only.

Menon further added that we believe that the new credit scheme will address the challenges faced by local kirana shoppers in India. That is why this plan has been prepared. This will help them manage their cash flows and improve the shopping experience on our platform, thereby benefitting the entire B2B retail ecosystem through digitisation.
