On Thursday morning, miscreants robbed a bag full of cash of three and a half lakh rupees from an agent in the vegetable market of Tarawadi. Although the agents chased, but could not be caught. After the information, the police have started further investigation after inspecting the spot and recording the statement of the victim.
In the complaint given to the police, a resident of Karnal, Anil told that he comes every Thursday from the vegetable market of Tarawadi to collect money. Today an amount of Rs 3.5 lakh was collected from the arhtiyas of the mandi. When he reached near his car at around 10 o’clock to return home with payment, during this time unknown miscreants snatched the bag full of money from his hand. On coming to know, some arhatiyas also chased them, but left after running the bike at high speed.
Immediately after the incident, this information was given to Tarawari police. The police team from Tarawadi police station reached the vegetable market and after inspecting the spot, interrogated the victim and other agents. At present, the police is scanning the footage of CCTV cameras installed nearby in the vegetable market. On the other hand, the shopkeepers of the vegetable market said that in the morning, they were shocked by the incident done by the miscreants. Proper arrangements should be made for their safety. The police should not only increase patrolling, but also keep a close watch on all the suspicious people coming and going in the market.
