Chandigarh: In view of the ever increasing cases of corona virus infection, the Haryana government has announced a complete lockdown in the state for a week from May 3. Minister Anil Vij gave this information via Twitter. Earlier, in the wake of rising cases of Corona virus, the weekend lockdown was announced on April 30 in nine districts of Haryana including Gurugram. This weekend lockdown will be effective from 10 pm Friday night to Monday morning.
Lockdown extended for one week in Delhi, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced
This information was given in an official order of the Haryana government. There will be lockdown / curfew in Gurugram, Faridabad, Panchkula, Rohtak, Karnal, Hisar, Sirsa and Faridabad districts from 10 am to 5 pm on Friday. People will be exempted. New cases of corona have increased in recent times in Gurugram, Faridabad, Noida and Ghaziabad of the National Capital Region (NCR), including the capital of Delhi.
There is no significant decrease in the speed of corona cases in the entire country including Delhi and Haryana. In India, on Sunday, May 2, 2021, 3,92,488 new COVID-19 cases have been registered in the last one day. The death toll is the highest today. In the last 24 hours, the maximum number of deaths has been 3,689. Let it be known that more than three lakh cases are coming, this is the 11th consecutive day. May is the second day of the month, but so far 7,94,481 new cases have come in the country and 7,212 deaths have taken place in May.
