IGNOU examinations to begin from August 3: Will continue till September 9; 28 examination centers were set up in Haryana, 23326 students will give exam

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is going to conduct the examinations from August 3 across India. The examinations will continue till September 9, for which 766 examination centers have been set up by IGNOU, in which 19 examination centers are abroad and 80 centers are in various jails.

Dr. Poonam Kumari Singh, Regional Director, Regional Center of IGNOU, Karnal informed that 4 lakh 23 thousand 849 eligible students will be eligible for PG Diploma, Diploma, Post Graduate Certificate and Certificate courses for undergraduate and postgraduate final year and outstanding courses. Hall tickets have been issued. Hall Tickets have been uploaded on IGNOU website www.ignou.ac.in.

Assistant Regional Director Dr. Dharam Pal informed that a total of 28 examination centers have been set up by IGNOU in Haryana, out of which 8 examination centers are in various jails of Haryana. A total of 23326 candidates will appear in the examinations to be held in the month of August. All arrangements have been made to conduct the examinations very systematically and smoothly. For this, an orientation program was also organized by IGNOU Regional Center Karnal for all the exam controllers, in which various information related to the examinations was provided to them.

MCA and BCA candidates will be issued separate hall tickets for practical examination, for which candidates will have to contact the regional center by the end of September 2021. All the examinees are requested to follow all the instructions to avoid corona infection issued by the government from time to time keeping in mind the corona epidemic. Make sure to wear a mask at the examination center. Reach the exam center 30 minutes before and carry the ID card and hall ticket issued by IGNOU with you.
