SCHOOL NEWS: The picture is still not clear on the opening of government schools in Haryana after January 26. In this regard, the Education Minister had earlier said to review and consider after Republic Day. Education Minister Kanwar Pal Gurjar now says that children’s lives are first for us.
The Education Minister said that the idea of opening schools with 33 percent children is going on, plans to open schools in three shifts a week are under consideration. In this sequence, the plan to open 33 percent children on Monday and Tuesday, then on Wednesday and Thursday in the second batch and on Friday and Saturday in the third batch has been discussed and top officials have given their suggestions and feedback
Let us inform that earlier there were orders to close schools and other educational institutions till 26 January. Online education is being conducted in educational institutions. After the statement of the Education Minister, it is clear that even after January 26, schools will not open and online education will continue till further orders.
There is a demand to open schools in many places
On the one hand, while the government has issued orders to keep the school closed due to the increasing corona cases, on the other hand some parents and school operators are demanding to open the school. Recently, people gathered at different places in Haryana to demand the opening of schools.
The Education Minister admitted that there is a network problem in an area like Morni. Therefore, it was considered to open schools in this area, but only after the cases of corona are reduced and after taking opinion from experts, the final agreement has not been reached at the moment. The Education Department has sent a file to the government to open schools for the children of classes 9 to 12, under which it was asked to open the school from January 28. But no final decision has been taken as of now.
