Haryana government will give free tablet to students


Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has said that free tablets will soon be given to the students of class 11th and 12th across the state. Apart from this, he has announced to release 15,000 tubewell connections to the farmers of the state soon. This decision was taken in the meeting of the High Powered Committee held here today under the chairmanship of Khattar. During this, Education Minister Kanwarpal, Transport Minister Moolchand Sharma, Power Minister Ranjit Singh, Agriculture Minister J.P. Dalal, Minister of State for Labor and Employment Anoop Dhanak and Sports Minister Sandeep Singh were also present.

Haryana government will give free tablet

Talking to reporters after the meeting, the Chief Minister said that in the meeting, proposals related to the purchase of about one thousand crore rupees were approved. He said that the government has decided to purchase five lakh tablets which will be given to the students studying in class 11th and 12th from the coming academic session. A total of Rs 560 crore will be spent to buy these tablets. The government will also plan to give tablets to students of other classes in future.

The Chief Minister said that soon 15 thousand tubewell connections would be given to the farmers. In this meeting, the process of purchasing power equipment worth Rs 350 crore was completed. Wire, transformer and other equipment will be procured for tube well connection. This will benefit thousands of farmers associated with Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam and Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam.

To a question, he said that curbing corruption is the priority of his government. If any officer or employee is found involved in corruption, strict action will be taken against him. If anyone gets any information related to corruption in jobs or departments, then immediately inform the Vigilance. Jobs are getting in their government on the basis of merit. In order to ensure that the youth of poor families get proper representation in jobs, his government has decided to give five additional marks. At present students are getting attracted towards studies and preparing for competitive examinations due to getting jobs on merit basis.

Khattar said that in his government, jobs will never be allowed to run on slips and expenses. Earlier some people’s representatives used to claim that they have given many government jobs in their area, but today no one says that we have got government jobs. Rather, they are getting jobs on the basis of their qualification. His government is working to get those who do corruption in jobs punished.
