The government will hire retired doctors to deal with the shortage of doctors during the Corona infection in Haryana. For this, they will be given an honorarium of 10 thousand rupees per day. In fact, the government has a shortage of specialist doctors.
JNN, Chandigarh. To tackle the uncontrollable corona infection in Haryana, the state government will appoint retired doctors. These physicians, who are admitted under the National Health Mission (NHM), will be paid a daily wage of ten thousand rupees. The rate of infection is increasing rapidly in the state. In such a situation, there is a shortage of specialist doctors in the treatment of the infected. Therefore, to deal with this situation, the state government has decided to recruit 852 doctors under NHM.
These physicians will be paid considerable salary based on their expertise. Retired Medical Officers of Haryana Medical Services (HCMS) cadre will also be employed. However, the HCMS doctor should not be more than 70 years of age. These doctors have to provide their services for one year so that the epidemic can be controlled.
