A big decision to deal with Corona

Chief Minister Manohar Lal will see Gurugram district and senior IAS officers have been placed in duty in all 22 districts.

The Haryana government has taken a major decision to deal with the deteriorating conditions due to Corona infection. Chief Minister Manohar Lal and his entire team will now work in the field. The Chief Minister has fielded the entire Cabinet and Additional Chief Secretary and Principal Secretary level officers sitting in the Chandigarh headquarters in the field. Assembly Speaker Gyanchand Gupta and Deputy Speaker Ranbir Gangwa, all cabinet and state ministers have been given the command of different districts.

Under the orders, all ministers will look after the management, coordination and monitoring of the infrastructure, medicines, oxygen and essential services present in the respective districts to prevent corona. The Political Branch of the Office of the Chief Secretary has issued written orders in this regard. All the Deputy Commissioners have been asked to keep in touch with the in-charge ministers of their district and submit a report of the steps taken and proposed under disaster management.

Chief Minister Manohar Lal will see Gurugram district. TC Gupta, Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Mines and Geology will look after the functioning of the State Control Room in Chandigarh / Panchkula. They will also oversee the functioning of all types of helplines and report directly to the Chief Secretary. Duty of senior IAS officers has been imposed in all 22 districts. Officers will review the availability of all medical facilities and arrangements.
