Gurmeet Ram Rahim, convicted of raping two journalists and killing a journalist, is serving a sentence in Sunaria Jail in Rohtak district of Haryana.

PGI was taken to Rohtak for treatment 6 days before Ram Rahim’s health deteriorated.

Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim, who is serving a sentence in Sunaria Jail in Rohtak district of Haryana, has once again applied for parole. Ram Rahim has petitioned the jail superintendent to grant emergency parole. In this, he has referred to the sick mother. The jail administration has informed the government about this. Now reports will also be sought from DC and SP of Rohtak and Sirsa. The decision on granting parole will be taken only after the report of these officials.

According to sources, Ram Rahim submitted an application for parole to Sunaria Jail Superintendent Sunil Sangwan on Monday (May 17). PGI was taken to Rohtak for treatment 6 days before Ram Rahim’s health deteriorated. But there too, like Baba, the children insisted on meeting the family and Honeypreet. The PGI’s medical board sent him back to jail after examining his health.

Ram Rahim has applied for parole several times, which gets rejected every time due to security reasons. However, last year, when Ram Rahim’s mother was deteriorating, Medanta entered Gurugram. Baba was given parole for one day. During this time, he was secretly taken to Medanta to introduce him to his mother. But the Haryana government was also very bad about this matter.

Ram Rahim has earlier sought parole, citing his mother’s illness, but his application was rejected. Baba had also asked for parole for the wedding ceremony in the family, but the Dera chief was not relieved in that either. Now in the middle of the Corona era, Ram Rahim has sent an application to the jail superintendent, seeking parole, citing his ailing mother.

Gurmeet Ram Rahim has been sentenced to 20 years in a rape case by two sadhvis. He is serving a life sentence in the journalist’s murder case. She was produced in Panchkula court on 25 August 2017. Convicted by a special CBI court, he was sent to the Goldsmith District Jail. On August 27, a CBI court was set up in the jail itself. Ram Rahim is in jail since the conviction on this day.
