The certificate obtained after passing the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) will now be valid for life. This decision of the state government will be applicable from 2011. Till now its validity was 7 years. With this, 2,61,611 youth will not have to pass the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test again. Board Secretary Rajiv Prasad said that soon they will be issued life validity certificates. It is noteworthy that the Central Government had also made the validity of Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for life. This was announced by the Union Education Minister Nishank Pokhriyal.
