Yamunanagar (January 7): Bird flu has knocked in many areas of the country including Himachal Pradesh, the state adjoining Yamunanagar. Animal Husbandry Department of district Yamunanagar has also become alert after thousands of chickens die in suspicious circumstances in Panchkula area of the state. The department has constituted 18 teams to monitor the situation, while the poultry businessmen have also been warned. Poultry farm in Yamunanagar and Hathini Kund barrage, Dadupur head, etc., where foreign birds are present nowadays, the department is also keeping a close watch. According to the information, necessary instructions have been issued by writing a letter from the Headquarters of the Animal Husbandry Department to the officers of the District Animal Husbandry Department. There are 187 poultry farms in the district, which the department is keeping an eye on.
SDO of the animal husbandry department of Yamunanagar, Surendra Kumar told that in view of the bird flu that has taken place, 18 teams have been formed in the district Yamunanagar and advisory has been issued to all whether in any poultry form or elsewhere If an extraordinary death is detected, whether it is felt in migratory birds or in any poultry farm, then inform us so that we can take further action. Apart from this, migratory birds are found at Hathini Kund Barrage, Dadupur Head. We have also put a team of doctors there. If any death is found there, then its sampling should be done immediately and the department should be informed so that immediate action can be taken. .
SDO of the Animal Husbandry Department, Surinder said that no death has been done in any poultry form yet, so there is no need to panic. But caution is needed as a precaution. He informed that there are 18 lakh 57 thousand 400 poultry birds from 187 poultry form in the district. We have alerted all the hospitals related to animal husbandry department in the district.
