India’s leading digital payment platform PhonePe has a userbase of 350 million. Finance-tech company PhonePe said on Friday that its annual total payment value (TPV, TPV) stood at $651 billion in December 2021 and monthly active users also increased to 150 million.
The company said in a statement that the total number of registered users on its platform has increased to 350 million. This means that every fourth person in the country uses PhonePe. The number of registered users on the PhonePe platform in January 2021 was 273 million. In this way, till December 2021, it has achieved a growth of 28 percent.

Sonika Chandra, Head of Consumer Platforms & Payments, PhonePe said, “We are extremely happy to have crossed 350 million users. Thus we have emerged as India’s largest digital payments platform on all key parameters.
Giving credit to the hard work of his technology team, he said that the emphasis will be on increasing our presence among the businessmen across the country.

PhonePe said that in December more than 50 crore transactions were done on its platform across the stores. Apart from 15,700 cities and towns across the country, the reach of PhonePe has increased its use in villages as well.
